Being a marudhaani (henna, mehndi) artist means multitudes. My distinct style not only represents my love for the natural world and cultural symbolism, but the connection I cultivate with each person I have the honor of adorning. The stories they tell me through our session are as equally represented as my artistic voice, and the voices of practitioners of this form throughout history.
